Every Christian can operate in all the nine gifts of the Spirit.
The
years before the Lord led me to Bible College I experienced a lot of manifestations
of the Spirit. I didn’t care whether I had the gifts or not, I would work them
out anyhow. What I knew I had was the Holy Spirit, the giver of the gifts. I
didn’t even know whether I had a calling to be a preacher or not. As far as I
knew I was just an ordinary Christian who had a zeal for the things of God.
I
didn’t care whether I had the gifts of healing or not, I would pray for the
sick anyhow. I didn’t care whether I had the gift of working of miracles or
not, I would pray for electrical gadgets anyhow. I didn’t care whether I had
the gift of faith or not, I would pray for people to receive the Holy Spirit
anyhow.
